Higher Medical-Scientific Education Projects
Over the years, we have specialized in the creation of Cadaver Labs aimed at physicians of different disciplines, focusing mainly on the disciplines of ENT, Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthopedics and Traumatology
Our society has established and consolidated an academic collaboration with the Maltese University over the years, organizing Cadaver Lab at the Department of Anatomy of the University of Malta. There are two main reasons that led us to this foreign location: the high quality of preservation of the cadaver treated with the Thiel Embalming technique and the performance of the exercise on whole cadaver and not on anatomical pieces.
By practicing on cadavers, it is possible to gradually acquire a great deal of manual dexterity useful for the independent and safe performance of medical practices, as well as having the opportunity to deal with more realistic problems.
In November 2022 it was held the first edition of the new project “M.I.C. 2022 – Malta Interactive CadLab”, a completely interactive and innovative event of its kind, addressed to the practice and clinic of infiltrative therapy.

This Theoretical-Practical Course, with the participation of a limited number of trainees, is for those who wish to practice infiltrative therapy with high professionalism and in complete safety.
The Cadaver Lab was organized over four days, the first three held in Malta, with a substantial practical part taught at the Anatomy Department of the University of Malta, while the closing day of the course was in Bologna.
Five visiting tutors/speakers followed the Participants step by step, working on the cadavers in small groups to allow everyone the in-depth experience of the practical part.
There was no shortage of convivial moments, which encouraged an experiential exchange between Participants and Speakers.
